Allyson Felix places second in her semifinal section of the 400m at U.S. Trials in 51.01 seconds, leading for most of the race before being caught by winner Kendall Ellis, who also advances to the final. Of all 16 finalists in the men’s and women’s 400m finals, Felix is the only one with Olympic experience.
